We offer psychiatric services in person or via Telehealth. Whether you are already on psychotropic medication and just need to continue care or you’re completely new to psychiatry, we can help! Your initial visit will be a comprehensive evaluation and a diagnosis will be established. We will then discuss treatment planning which may include psychotropic medication, talk therapy, ketamine-assisted therapy, and/or other interventions tailored to your individual needs. Initial visits range from 30-60 minutes.

If you are started on psychotropic medication, follow up visits will be required every 2-4 weeks for the first few months. Once you are stable on a medication or regimen follow up visits may occur every 1-6 months and/or as needed.

important info on Controlled Substances…

I pride myself on being a conscientious prescriber and aim to treat each client individually as opposed to setting strict rules for prescribing. That being said, my experience and education have informed the following guidelines…

warning sign
  • We prefer not to initiate stimulant treatment unless you have been formally diagnosed with ADHD through neuropsychological testing. If you are already on a stimulant we can continue that treatment if records from your previous prescriber are provided. We are happy to provide non-stimulant options for treating ADHD!

  • We are happy to provide limited quantities of benzodiazepines on an as needed basis. We do not believe in daily benzo use but are happy to provide education on or initiate a slow taper process with you. Benzos are like a band-aid as opposed to a cure for your anxiety and can have long term risks including cognitive decline. Jordan has had success tapering several clients down from daily use to as needed use only. This process can take months as we taper very slowly and safely. We also recommend the use of alternative meds to assist you during the taper process.

  • We are not entirely opposed to utilizing these medications for sleep but prefer trying alternative options first. There are several non-addictive meds for sleep that can be taken on an as needed basis. If you are already on a controlled med for sleep we are open to continuing that treatment but would encourage trying alternative options as well if you have not already.
